On our first weekend back in Kenya I went on to our deck to try out my new 400mm lens. I was dismayed to find the yard uncharacteristically devoid of birds. A shadow sweeping across the lawn caught my atention and I looked up to see a harrier hawk soaring by. I managed to fire off a few frames before he flew out of range. Kijabe, Kenya.
